The first rule God gave was to rest. I believe this is because God knew it would be impossible to obey the other commandments if we did not consistently have a time of refreshment.

I have spoken to many parents of adult children who are heartbroken and at a loss due to their children exhibiting a lack of faith. This article is an attempt to offer some insight and hope for those walking through this valley.

Going through good times can mask the symptoms of a sick spirit. A person who is light years away from the Lord can appear just as happy and healthy as someone who is walking closely to the Lord. When everything is going well at home, at work, and in every avenue of life, it causes you to walk with confidence.

What did Jesus mean by ASK SEEK AND KNOCK? Have you ever noticed that some prayers are answered quickly while others take a long time? I have found that understanding what season you are in will help you sync up with what God is doing in your life.

God speaks to us in many ways. He speaks to us from scriptures, from sermons, from visions and dreams, and even from life circumstances. The vast majority of the way God has given me instruction is in my thoughts. The tricky part is telling the difference between God’s voice and my own fears or desires.

Perhaps one of the greatest challenges of being a Christian is taking leaps of faith. It seems like just when I think that my faith is the strongest it has ever been, God finds a new way to challenge it. And just when I feel as though I can conquer the world, there is a new giant that must be slayed.

Patience is a key determining factor to the length of your pause. Some personality styles have more patience than others. Moses was the meekest man on earth, and had a forty year pause. The apostle Paul, not a very meek man, had a three day pause.
